I began dancing when I was 3 years old at the Saffron School of Dance and this is where my ballet passion began. I completed and passed all my standard Grades in ISTD Imperial Classical Ballet, currently residing at Intermediate level and looking to hopefully soon complete my teaching Diploma. Due to a change of direction post Pandemic, I now dance the R.A.D syllabus to keep my skillset up on a weekly basis at a local school. I also have 5 years of experience in Tap Dance and Modern Theatre Dance. I performed in a number of shows and began volunteering in some of the younger classes at my old school. I then opened my own Dance Coaching business back in 2019 where I taught ballet on a 1:1 basis to 14+ year olds and ran a series of Baby and Adult Classes (this was again cut short by the pandemic) and I ended up in the field of Healthcare.
I took a different path when it came to University and gained a 2:1 in Psychology from the Open University and Postgraduate Certificate in Psychological Wellbeing from the University of Essex and I am now a trained Wellbeing Practitioner. I am however looking to turn my attention (at least somewhat) back to dance and come back into teaching by furthering my career with Tippy Toes and shaping the next generation of ballerinas!
