Miss Anne
Anne is originally from the United States and began dancing ballet at the age of three in her hometown of Edmonds, Washington. She trained at Olympic Ballet School, where she studied classical ballet, variations, pointe, repertoire, modern, and character dance. She performed in Olympic Ballet Theatre productions including The Nutcracker, Coppélia, Giselle, and The Sleeping Beauty, among others. Anne continued her training through renowned summer intensives across the country, attending programs at Pacific Northwest Ballet School, Boston Ballet School, and the Bolshoi Ballet Academy’s NYC summer intensive.
She went on to attend the University of Washington in Seattle, completing a minor in Dance and further expanding her technical and artistic foundation. Following graduation, Anne began a professional career in paediatric behavioural health, where she worked with young children diagnosed with neurodevelopmental disorders. Her background in behavioural health has shaped her gentle, patient teaching style, and she brings a strong understanding of child development into every class.
Anne believes in teaching ballet through encouragement, creativity, and kindness. She aims to make every class joyful and imaginative, and she is passionate about fostering each child’s confidence and love for dance as they grow. She is delighted to be part of the Tippy Toes Ballet team and looks forward to sharing the joy of ballet with young dancers!
