Miss Sheryl started dancing at the age of 3, training in ISTD/RAD Ballet, Modern, Disco and Rock n Roll. She spent many weekends as a young girl taking part as a competitive freestyle dancer in ADFP Competitions at championship level. This led to a range of performances in pantomimes and dance shows in and around London’s West End, shows such as ‘Stars of Tomorrow’.
Her passion for dance drove her to start a career in teaching after studying and gaining a Bachelor of Arts at ‘Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance’. Sheryl has now been teaching for over 15 yrs. She has worked with a wide range of children and young people who are either now gaining further qualifications, performing or teaching as a career. Sheryl gained her Qualified Teacher Status and has worked in charge of Dance Departments in Secondary Schools for nearly 13 years. Observed as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted she establishes high standards of practice and encourages all to be their very best. Sheryl absolutely loves teaching and is also a proud mum of two little girls!
